Wellbeing in the pharmacy

The Patient Safety Group considers everything that influences the provision of safe and effective care. Importantly, this includes the health and wellbeing of staff, which is a priority for all community pharmacy owners.

With this in mind, the Patient Safety Group has developed ten top tips guidance to support you to manage wellbeing in the pharmacy and to give suggestions on what to do if you or a team member feels under pressure.

Mental Health First Aid also provides valuable training, which the members of the Community Pharmacy Patient Safety Group have undertaken, to equip employees with the knowledge and confidence to provide Mental Health First Aid for the most common mental health issues as well as an understanding of how to help build a mentally healthy workplace, challenge stigma and support positive wellbeing.
