Each year, the Patient Safety Group sets out core priority areas to work on.
In 2023 we will; continue to provide a forum based on the principles of sharing and learning, openness and transparency and will work to embed these principles at all levels; work with policy makers to inform national safety mechanisms; engage with key stakeholders and respond proactively and reactively to issues which impact patient safety.
We will focus on medication safety and incidents, online pharmacies and controlled drugs. We will continue to support the reduction of health inequalities.
